Почему прозрачные каппы заменят брекеты
A 2023 meta-analysis in the American Journal of Orthodontics confirms that clear aligners achieve equivalent clinical outcomes to fixed braces for the vast majority of cases, including complex crowding, deep bites, open bites, and Class II/III malocclusions. Three innovations—smart attachments enabling controlled root movement, hybrid protocols integrating temporary anchorage devices with aligners, and AI treatment planning trained on millions of cases—have eliminated the historical limitation that aligners were only suitable for simple cases. Patient experience further favors aligners through virtual invisibility, removability for hygiene and diet, fewer emergency visits, and 3D treatment previews. Despite these advantages, braces still command approximately 70% of global case starts due to institutional inertia, conservative orthodontic education curricula, and persistent patient myths. However, generational demand from Millennials and Gen Z, billions in capital driving rapid material and software innovation, and superior practice economics are accelerating the shift. Third-party OEM providers and local brands are democratizing access and expanding market education. The article projects that braces will drop below 50% global market share within five years, becoming a narrow niche by 2030.
