Brushed motors wear out, spark, and lose torque at low speed. A brushless motor runs cooler, lasts longer, and holds its speed under load. On the BL-100 that means 0–50,000 RPM with speed fluctuation under 1% — when the bur touches the material, the speed you set is the speed you get. Torque is rated at 8.5 Ncm, enough for trimming hard aligner sheet edges without stalling, yet controllable at low RPM for final polishing. Forward and reverse rotation is switchable, which matters for left- and right-handed operators and for working both sides of an edge cleanly.
Designed for a full shift of finishing work
The handpiece weighs 275 g and is balanced for extended use. Speed is controlled by a magnetic foot pedal with an automatic braking system — lift your foot and the bur stops, so you can reposition the aligner without reaching for a switch. If anything goes wrong, the console runs a fault self-check (error codes E1–E9) and the circuit is protected against overheating and overload. Your technician finds the problem in minutes, not after a service call.
